US Military Model 1892 Krag Jorgenson Bayonet & Scabbard + Hangar c. Dated 1900. Missing mounting button, latch and spring. Comes with the belt loop attachment too. Bayonet measures 16-1/4" overall with a blade length of 11-3/4. Good showing age patina, wear, and original finish, mixed with smooth patchy gray spotting. Ricasso area of blade marked, "US" with opposite side having date of "1900” Blade edge has no chips and does appear to be sharpened at some point. Bayonet is tight with no looseness. Pommel end shows a dark brown/rust patina. These were used on the Krag .30-40 Rifles in the Spanish American War and the early 1900's prior to WW1.
