    Description

    US Krag Bayonet 1900 - Original with Scabbard.  I purchased this Krag Bayonet about 15 years ago; cleaned the blade, guard, and handle of rust and applied a coat of Boiled Linseed Oil to the wood grips.  Then, I wrapped it in cloth and put it in the closet.  Blade is stamped "1900" on one side and "US" on the other side.  Blade is in overall excellent condition with some light surface scratches.   Blade edge is dull, which leads me to believe it was never sharpened.  Wood grips are in excellent condition with the name "Rossi" or "Rosso" lightly carved on side with US stamp.  Scabbard has light surface rust and hook swivel is tight and needs to be oiled.  A very nice example of a Krag Bayonet
