    Description

    U.S. Model 1889 Spanish American War "Snowflake" Campaign Hat
    This is an original U.S. Army Model 1889 Regulation “Snowflake” Spanish American War Campaign Hat in untouched condition. Tan fur felt with snowflake vent holes on both side of the hat, two rows of stitching on the outside edge of the brim, brown satin hat ribbon. The brown leather sweatband is marked "U.S.A. with top and bottom snowflake design. There is a size tag at the back on the sweet band 7-1/8”. The brown ribbon is frayed but complete. There is mounting hole on the front of the hat.
