    1898 "Remember The Maine" - Cuba Must Be Free Token
    :
    This is a listing for a single token that in all probability this brass token dates back to the Spanish American War, a 10 week war during 1898. It was used by proponents of the war as part of a political campaign against Spain. It measures 3/4" in diameter. Obverse: "Remember the Maine" with an image of the ship. Reverse: "Cuba Must be Free" with an image of the Cuban flag. This token is in excellent condition with some surface handling wear, please take a look at the images and if you have any questions please ask.
