Jon Metzger Hand-Crank Kaleidoscope

Description

Up for auction is a vintage limited edition hand-crank kaleidoscope by Jon Metzger.  The scope has an equilateral three-mirror system a dry object cell filled with colored glass.  The object cell is turned using the hand crank on the right side of the scope.  The body of the scope can be detached from the base and used as a hand-held scope.  The barrel of the scope is 10 inches long and 2.5 inches in diameter.  The scope is 12 inches high on the base, which is 8 inches in diameter.  The scope is in excellent condition and is signed by the artist.
