Description

You are bidding on a US Springfield Krag rifle hand guard.
The hand guard is for the Models 1898 or 1902 rear sights.
The wood is walnut.
The hand guard is cracked as pictured and there are dents and scratches.
The crack will mostly close up when on the barrel as pictured.
The barrel is not part of this auction and is sold separately.
It is marked 99 on the inside.
The barrel clips are attached.
To install the hand guard, remove the action from the stock.
Remove the rear sight.
Place the hand guard at the muzzle end of the barrel and slide the hand guard up the barrel into place.
DO NOT try and snap into place, the hand guard will break.
