    Description

    This original Model 1902 Artillery Lance Corporal chevron is in excellent, unissued condition.
    It has a red felt stripe on cotton khaki twill.
    The stitching is tight and strong, and there are no tears, holes or moth damage.
    These chevrons with the stripes in branch colors were only made for two years, as it was found that the colors did not hold up well to washing, and in 1904, stripes were switched to olive drab for all Army branches.
    This chevron measures 3¼ inches across.
