  • Condition: This is a very rough condition cover with enclosed very fine condition original four page handwritten letter dated Nov 20, 1900 from L. D. Harp to his brother Bert Harp in South Euclid, Ohio. He provides his brother his address at the end of the letter: "L. D. Harp, Hosp. Corps, U. S. A., U. S. Gen. Hospital Dagupan, Luzon P. I.". In the letter he writes :...They expect an attack on this place anytime between this and the 1st of the month. They have in prison at this place the notorious insurgent General Prado. He is to be hung the 30th of this month an noon in the Plaza. I am going to see it if possible....".
