August 7, 1918 Adjutant General's Office Mustered Certificate for Willard Kinney as a Private in Company I, 2nd Regiment Ohio Vol. Infantry on 25 April 1898 at Kenton, Ohio by Captain May until 10 May 1898. Signed by Roy E. Layton, Adjutant General of Ohio.2. 5 page, 12 Dec 1898 handwritten letter from Willard to his future wife, Alice, from Macon, Georgia.
3. Sept 6, 1918 partially typed letter from the Dept. of The Interior, Bureau of Pensions to Mrs. Alice Kinney in Carey, Ohio.
4. June 29, 1920 typed letter from H. G. Chambers of Carey, Ohio which contained Willard's above 1898 letter to be used by his wife for a pension application, as the letter documents his military service.
5. March 25, 1899 cover and letter from Orvile & Della Young of Leipsic, Ohio sending "....congratulations upon the event of your marriage..."
